Vois

A design system built for AI products. No UI opinions. Just the foundation.

Most design systems ship with opinions. A card looks like this, a modal behaves like that — adopt the system, adopt someone else's taste. Vois doesn't. It's a design system built for AI products, and it ships primitives instead: spacing, color, typography, motion tokens, accessibility patterns. Teams compose their own UI on top.

It started as an internal toolkit for a team that needed a shared language across design and engineering, not a shared look.

Semantic tokens map to multiple themes from one source of truth that feeds Figma, code, and documentation at once. Change a token, and everything downstream updates. No drift, no manual re-sync.

What kept it lean was a simple filter: the three-product rule. A component only earns a place in Vois after it shows up in three separate products first. Show up once, and it stays local to that product — most ideas never get promoted, and that's exactly what keeps a foundation from turning into another opinion stacked on the pile.
